Procurement Officer job in dubai

Jobs description/Role 

Employment: Full-Time

 Purpose

To help IHS improve its P2P processes and follow best practices, the assigned entities should handle PO processing and create or update vendor/supplier master data.


Important Roles and Duties

• Make sure that procurement policies and procedures are followed by keeping an eye on and overseeing corporate procurement practices. 

• Find and use opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices to make them more efficient and effective.

• Help with strategic alignment with the retained organization/market.

 • Make Purchase Order and send it to Supplier/Requester within the required Turn-Around-Time. 

• Handle questions and problems from both stakeholders and suppliers.

• Track the status of Requisition and PO. 

• Look for ways to improve processes and share best practices with other teams. 

• Contribute to team metrics by meeting daily productivity and accuracy goals.


Requirement

Required Abilities

• Good interpersonal skills and team player 

• Can communicate clearly, quickly, and assertively

 • Understanding of Procurement concepts and principles 

• Goal-oriented with a strong emphasis on meeting SLA Commitments

 • Attention to detail and accuracy, Capability to bring and share best practice

• Expenses and Accounts Payable demand extensive fusion knowledge and experience


Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in procurement within the industry, consultancy, or outsourcing businesses 

• Global exposure or experience working with geographically distributed teams will be an advantage.

• Pursuing or interested in pursuing professional certification (desirable)
